The Oklahoma Healing Arts Institute is a licensed Oklahoma acupuncture school with a rich heritage. Located in Oklahoma City, the heartland of the Midwest, our school trains students under highly skilled practitioners in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Training continues until you achieve a sufficient level of proficiency in the basic Chinese healing arts. Your academic classes ensure that you can recognize when more skilled acupuncture or herbal practitioners should be consulted to ensure the best level of care available.

Our school serves students new to Acupuncture and alternative healthcare "and" those seeking to add to their current skills. We encourage students to pursue life long learning under instructors that are practitioners of various holistic modalities as well as, healers to continually build their own proficiency.

In the true tradition of alternative medicine, our students may also be skilled at other healing arts. These practitoners may attend our College to add Chinese healing arts to their repertoire of therapeutic skills.

Oklahoma has a long historical relationship with acupuncture and alternative health care. Oklahomans were some of the first Americans trained in Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture, under teacher Ted J. Kaptchuk, OMD.

We honor the multi-disciplinary healing tradition by also offering barefoot doctor classes in both Bach Flower Essences and Aromatherapy.
