Statement of Purpose
The mission and purpose of the Oklahoma Healing Arts Institute is four-fold:
1. To educate and train students in the basic foundations of Acupuncture, Chinese medicine and other bioenergetic healing arts.
2. To teach the clinical skills needed to analyze, diagnose, and treat patients according to the standards of practice of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine.
3. To offer to qualified individuals an educational program which includes highly challenging courses of study, theoretical discussion, practical application, and supervised clinical practice.
4. To raise the general public's awareness of the benefits of acupuncture, Chinese medicine and other bioenergetic healing arts.
Educational Objectives
The educational objectives of the Oklahoma Healing Arts Institute are as follows:
- To introduce students to the different methods and, theories of TCM, with a practical emphasis on analysis, diagnosis, and treatment according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as educating students in other bioenergetic healing arts.
- To provide high-quality low-cost healthcare to the Oklahoma City community.
